Recently Google has announced that its search engine would reward websites that deliver a great user experience giving them better rank. That means that if a website serves multiple devices including smart phones, tablets, netbooks, laptops and desktops and its content is well visible and organized on all of these devices, then it’s most likely that such website would have better search result in Google. At the same time if a website has different versions for smart phones, tablets and desktops, it would be probably penalized by Google for duplicate content because it would has the same content on different URLs. All this follow us to Responsive Web Design.
What is Responsive Web Design?
Wikipedia says: "Responsive Web Design is a Web design approach aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing experience-easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling-across a wide range of devices." See full article here: (Responsive Web Design)
Responsive designed websites allow one URL and a single content source to serve multiple devices. So this is the key to create a website that will be liked and rewarded by Google (and soon other search engines).
